Nadia Pessoa is an orchestral harpist and soloist in Washington, D.C., regularly performing with the area's leading ensembles at the National Cathedral, the Kennedy Center, the National Gallery of Art, the Music Center at Strathmore, the U.S. Capitol, and the Department of State. She also performs for weddings and private functions throughout Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. Recent concerts have included the world premiere of Norwegian composer Kjell Habbestad's Edvard Munch Suite at the National Gallery of Art, a featured performance at the Washington Sound Museum series with multi-instrumentalist Christylez Bacon, the 2013 White House Inaugural Ball with Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, and performances of Benjamin Britten's "A Ceremony of Carols" with the Choral Arts Society and the Children's Choir of Washington at the Kennedy Center in December 2013.
